This is a conformationally correct and stunning colt with good substance and three quality gaits. Sired by the legendary dressage stallion, Weltmeyer, who is regarded as one of the most influential stallions for shaping the Hanoverian breed and modern dressage horse. Weltemyer has produced 134 approved sons and 52 grand prix dressage offspring to date. He is known to stamp his offspring with excellent rideability, powerful gaits and an active hind leg. Out of the Premium mare Afternoon Delight, who is sired by the great dressage stallion Donner Bube (Donnerhall x Pin Bube) and out of a Woman dam.
Wendelin is a bold and non-reactive youngster, with a beautiful uphill canter and enormous stride. He demonstrates an active hind leg and good elasticity at all three gaits with natural self carriage. He has the movement and natural athletic ability to reach the top levels of the sport in dressage, eventing or hunter jumper rings. He currently stands at 15'3 hh and is expected to finish around 16'1 hh.
