Arrezzo

Arrezzo is a striking stallion of modern type and correct conformation. He continues to stand out by not only his incredibly light and ground-covering movement, but also by his unbeatable temperament. In 2019, Arrezzo was awarded Reserve National Champion Stallion by the CWHBA based on his scores at the stallion licensing and was also awarded bronze premium performance status with the Canadian Sport Horse Association.
Arrezzo started his career in the 4 & 5 year old FEI Dressage classes where he consistently received scores in the 70s. Since then, he has pursued a career in the hunter ring where he continues to shine in the Open green divisions. He is valued in the hunter ring for his 10+ technique over fences, incredible presence and hack-winning movement. In the dressage ring, he was praised for his quality and elasticity of gaits, and superb hind-end drive.
Arrezzo will continue his performance career in the 3'6 Green Conformation Hunter Division in 2021.

Arrezzo is an excellent choice to add refinement and type to larger mares. He continues to stamp his foals with his beautiful refined head, lovely length of neck, disposition, and rocking-horse canter. Please contact for more information and booking requests.

Pedigree

Arrezzo is sired by the GOV premium stallion, Soprano. Soprano himself had a successful career in the dressage ring at the Prix St. Georges level under Andreas Helgstrand and is sired by the legendary Sandro Hit who is one the world's most influential dressage sires. His grandsire, Sandro, was a champion 1.60m jumper. Soprano's damsire, Contender, has continually been one of the world's leading jumping sires and has produced 127 approved sons in Europe and North America. Arrezzo's dam, Katz Kyra, is a premium Trakehner mare who showed early success in both the dressage and the jumper rings before an untimely injury limited her career to a broodmare. Arrezzo's damsire, Katalac, was the former foundation sire of Katalac Sport Horses who was valued for his consistent production of conformationally correct and atheltic offspring with outstanding temperaments and trainability. Arrezzo's lines also go back to the notable, Tin Rocco and Ramino, who were both successful 1.50m jumpers and the great Cor de la Bryere.
